Stewart was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but raised in the Northwest Hills area of Austin. He attended high school at Anderson, then moved to Santa Barbara and Seattle for college.
Upon graduation, Stewart worked as a VFX Producer for a Seattle based company called Tinderbox. Splitting his time between the company’s Seattle and Vancouver offices, he worked on films, episodics, and commercials managing everything from shoot coordination/budgeting to post production scheduling/completion and deliverables.
Upon moving back to Austin in late 2009, he began his Austin real estate career with The McGinley Group at Keller Williams, serving as the Lead Buyer’s Agent. He credits the time spent with Patrick McGinley and team as the main reason he truly understands the trials and tribulations new agents go thru in the first few years of their career. This allows him to offer the proper support/training/coaching to all agents within the Cityscape brokerage.
In late 2013, Stewart moved to Century 21 – Hellmann Stribling where he was hired as Managing Director of the Austin office handling all duties from recruiting to agent training and support.
Time spent at KW and Century 21 has provided Stewart with the knowledge and experience necessary to tackle any transaction. He enjoys the negotiation aspect of this industry and loves a challenge. The tougher the better as it allows for creative vision and thinking.
He’s excited to form Cityscape Property Group with two long-time friends and successful real estate brokers, Mike Meserole and Garrett Meeker. They are dedicated to a strong culture within the brokerage, making sure all agents are provided with everything they need to excel in this competitive market. Cityscape is customer service first, while providing knowledge stemmed from deep Austin roots dedicated to providing excellent residential and commercial brokerage services.
